Doug carries on the law practice founded by his grandfather C.D. Treble, Q.C. (1924-1968) and continued by his father, James H. Treble (1961-2002).

Doug received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba in 1994 and his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Manitoba in 1998. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1999 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Manitoba.

He is regularly consulted for advice on real property and finance transactions and has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, taxation, wills, estate planning and administration.

Merle obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002 and her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of South Africa in 2005.  She practiced as an attorney in South Africa before emigrating to Manitoba in 2014. She completed the Federation of Law Societies of Canada National Accreditation Exams in 2016 and received her call to the Manitoba Bar in April 2017.  Merle is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Manitoba.
 
Merle’s practice includes property law, corporate law, commercial law, wills, trusts, estate administration, taxation, succession planning and immigration law.
